This directory contains support files for the KV170x product.

KV170x COMPATIBILITY
======================

- Revision 2.2.0.35 is compatible with the following

	SAM-PS2		2.0.1.2 and higher.
	SAM-MD8USB	3.0.0.1 and higher.
	KV171x		1.1.3.42 and higher.
	KV1701e		2.2.0.35 and higher recommended.
	Octoware	1.0 and higher.



How do I upgrade?
=================
To upgrade the flash in your KV170x you will need to copy the required file
from this folder to a machine running Octoware rev 1.0 or higher. Then follow 
the instructions in Octoware for downloading the new software. This is also available
from this site.
1. 	Download the file "KV170x.bbx" to a drive that is accessible
  	by the machine running Octoware.

2.	Using the Octoware software, download the file to all the KV170xs that
	are to be upgraded. This is done by selecting Admin Tools - software
	Upgrade, selecting the file "KV170x.bbx" and the names of the KV170x's to be
	upgraded, and then click begin upgrade.

3.	Each KV170x will take approximately 3 minutes to update.
Note: 	The KV170x will reboot twice during the upgrade.
