KV171x COMPATIBILITY ====================== - Revision 1.1.3.42 is compatible with the following SAM-PS2 2.0.1.2 and higher. KV1701x 2.2.0.35and higher recommended. Octoware 1.0 and higher. How do I upgrade? ================= To upgrade the flash in your KV171x you will need to copy the required file from this folder to a machine running Octoware 1.0 or higher. Then follow the instructions in Octoware for downloading the new software. This is also available from this site. 1. Download the file "KV171x.bbx" to a drive that is accessible by the machine running Octoware. 2. Using the Octoware software, download the file to all the KV171x's that are to be upgraded. This is done by selecting Admin Tools - software Upgrade, selecting the file "KV171x.bbx" and the names of the KV171x's to be upgraded, and then click begin upgrade. 3. Each KV171x will take approximately 5 minutes to update.
